Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. When you buy a YouJotted Pro or Teams license, your purchase and payment are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. The charge on your statement will appear from Lemon Squeezy (or LEMSQUEEZY), and checkout takes place on a Lemon Squeezy–powered page.

1. The service

YouJotted is a browser extension that provides a local-first scratchpad for notes, tasks, and reminders. A free version is available, and an optional one-time paid license ("Pro" or "Teams") unlocks additional features.

2. Purchases and payment processing

All purchases are sold and fulfilled through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. This means Lemon Squeezy, not YouJotted, is the seller of record for the transaction: it processes your payment, handles billing, and is responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST in your jurisdiction.

When you click a "Buy" button, you complete checkout through Lemon Squeezy. Your payment details are entered into and handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy — we never see or store your card or payment information. Your use of the checkout is also subject to the Lemon Squeezy Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

3. Licenses

A Pro license activates on up to 3 devices; a Teams license activates on up to 5. Licenses are one-time purchases and do not expire. Your license key is delivered by Lemon Squeezy via email receipt and is always available in your Lemon Squeezy customer account. You may deactivate a device from within the extension to free a seat.

You may not resell, sublicense, or publicly distribute your license key. Sharing a key beyond your own permitted activations is not permitted.

4. Refunds

If YouJotted isn't right for you, you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Contact us using our contact form with your YouJotted Pro Chrome Extension receipt details (or your order number) and we'll process it. See our Refund Policy for full details.

5. The free version

The free version is provided as-is. We may change its feature limits over time. Your notes and tasks are stored only on your own device. YouJotted cannot access, read, or modify your notes and reminder data — there is no server that receives it — so a change to feature limits never affects content you have already created.

6. Disclaimer

YouJotted stores your data locally in your browser. We are not responsible for data loss caused by browser updates, extension removal, or device failure. Export your notes regularly if they are important to you. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
